Elemental Solutions has been at the forefront of sustainable water management since it was set up in 1996 by Nick Grant and Mark Moodie. Mark left the partnership in 2005 to pursue agricultural research.

I am committed to independent advice, however research has led to the development of commercial products such as the Airflush® urinal, the ES4 WC the NatSol compost toilet and even a range of energy efficient lights.

Whilst mainstream sustainability is my passion, I also specialise in one-off solutions for innovative projects and difficult sites.

Working as a freelance consultant and in association with other specialists I offer:-

• Research to inform policy and best practice
• Design advice on all aspects of sustainable building
• Strategic and detailed design to Passivhaus and AECB energy standards
• Water efficiency advice, specification and plumbing design
• Detailed design of reed beds, sand filters, soil filters and septic systems
• Courses, CPDs, technical writing, lectures
